Bidding in our Live Auctions

It’s simple! Please proceed to the cashier’s desk, provide them your driver’s license and telephone number in exchange for your bid card. Bid your price on the items that you want to buy. Once you are finished bidding, please present your bid card to the cashier who will process your payment for the items you won in the auction.

Bidding in our Online Auctions

For our online auctions, please register on our website as a “new bidder” and follow the steps required. Upon successful registration, you will be able to place bids in any of our online auctions. After the auction, your credit card will be charged for any items that you won. Any shipping costs (available on some of our auctions) will be a separate charge. Please be sure to read the auction terms and attend any scheduled previews. Please also take note of when the scheduled auction pick-up will be.

What Payment do We Accept?

We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard only. We do not accept any checks.

Absentee / Phone Bids

1. All Absentee/Phone Bidders must be registered with Michael Hoffman, Auctioneer. By submitting an absentee/phone bid(s) you agree to the terms & conditions of the auction set by Michael Hoffman, Auctioneer and Michael Hoffman & Associates.
2. All Absentee/Phone Bidders must submit valid Credit Card Information. The credit card will be charged for the hammer (sold) price plus a 13% buyer’s premium and any applicable sales tax, on the 1st business day after an auction unless other payment arrangements have been made prior to the auction. A 3% discount will be applied for payments made by cash on absentee bids only. There is no discount for phone bids regardless of payment type.
3. Michael Hoffman, Auctioneer offers absentee/phone bidding as a convenience to customers who are unable to attend the auction and will not be held responsible for errors or failure to execute bids. Your bid on each lot will be entered on your behalf by the auctioneer or designated staff member. Once a bid is placed it cannot be withdrawn or amended. In the event of a “Tie” bid, the auctioneer will sell to the “floor” bidder.
